When my car has to go into the shop, I am always afraid of being ripped off. Given parts I didn’t need. Upselling me with fear tactics. I always leave the garage wishing I had someone I could trust.
In advertising and design there are also ways of giving a client parts they don’t need and upselling with fear. Because of the way I feel as a consumer, I don’t play those games with my clients.
While all the tasks listed to the left are deliverables I can provide. My biggest service is listening to what my clients need and give design and price options.
I believe in building trust. Trust is built by being forthright and having the clients best interest in mind. To me, that’s great service.

I have to tell the truth, I’m tired. Tired of promotion even though its necessary. Besides how do you promote to clients who are masters of promotion? How should I position myself? How do I differentiate myself from all those other Illustrators, Art Directors and Designers who sit on the supermarket shelf? Maybe I should have fewer carbs than the regular Graphic Designer. I’m 100% organic – did you know most Art Directors are only 80% organic.
That makes me the better choice. Hiring me makes you look younger, feel better, love longer.
Got that-not-so fresh-feeling? Hire me!
So this time, I’m going to do something CRAZY. I’m gonna get personal.
• I once got stuck in a revolving door.
• I hate clowns. All clowns are evil, even Ronald.
• I’m afraid of failure, it’s what drives me above all else. It’s also was blocks my path.
• “Tainted Love” by Soft Cell is my favorite song of all time.
• As a teen I wanted to ROCK like Bon Jovi.
• I once got a “C” in an Art class. Key Tip: Attending class is more of a rule than suggestion.
• I’m a sucker for baseball movies.
• I believe in change.
• For me, design is personal, so critiques hurt.
• I believe to be a good leader you need to care more about people than the project.
• To be a great leader, you have to get people to care more about the project than themselves.
• Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back…I want to bring something back.
• I like the concept of excercise, it’s the implementation that bothers me.
• I believe that everyone is creative. You just got to find out in what.
• As a child, I peed on my brothers GI Joe Camper. I’m still not sorry.
• I will always find an avenue to create.

My name is Tony A. Boisvert and this is my business. Right now it’s not a large enterprise, but I would like it to be.
In 3rd grade, my friend Kendall and I created a comic book called The Adventures of Trash Can Man. It was brilliantly written with detailed illustrations. Better yet, it was full of
poop and fart jokes.
Although it was a collaboration, Kendall was a better drawer and wrote neater that me. It was a fact that no mother could side step and it frustrated me. But it inspired me to work harder, well, as hard as a 9 year old would work.
I remember the feeling of empowerment and freedom when we talked of starting a comic book then selling them for REAL money. It‘s the feeling I still get when I work on projects that help other people and in return build the company I call Boisvert Illustration & Design.
This site is dedicated to Kendall…wherever you are.
